Problem / The Air Force’s tagline ‘Accomplished’ had projected it to such a high status that it was now perceived as being too elite for tradies to join, who are in fact, the backbone of the Air Force.

Solution / A series of home-made D.I.Y. videos taken to the next level, to show tradies and potential applicants all the cool things that you can do in the Air Force. It was important to make these as quick as possible, but still retain all the correct steps and accuracy to how the Air Force personnel complete tasks.

The whole production of these videos were done completely on the fly. While we knew what the task for each video was, there was no way of knowing the individual steps involved until the day of filming. On the day of the shoot, we would meet the personnel, they would take us through the steps, then we would storyboard it up, get it approved by the client on the spot and then start shooting straight away - all within the first hour of the day.
